The lights from the parlour and kitchen shone out The Dog, and the Plough, and the Hunter, and all, By:
Through the blinds and the windows and bars;
And high overhead and all moving about,
There were thousands of millions of stars.
There ne’er were such thousands of leaves on a tree,
Nor of people in church or the Park,
As the crowds of the stars that looked down upon me,
And that glittered and winked in the dark.
And the star of the sailor, and Mars,
These shone in the sky, and the pail by the wall
Would be half full of water and stars.
They saw me at last, and they chased me with cries,
And they soon had me packed into bed;
But the glory kept shining and bright in my eyes,
And the stars going round in my head.
The lights from the parlour and kitchen shone out
The Dog, and the Plough, and the Hunter, and all,

He has Pocoyo toys and Pocoyo DVD's.
He even likes to watch Pocoyo online!
So, my hubby found out this very cool blog where you get to know everything about POCOYO.
For instance, did you know that Pocoyo means "Little Me" in Spanish??
So to find out more about this cute lil'guy hop over "Fada Moranga's Pocoyo Gallery".
Guess what Eric wants for Christmas??Yep...Pocoyo Game for Nintendo DS!

As I've told you before Eric is turning 3 this November 20th.So this month means a lot to me.
Of course that March and May mean a lot too (those are the months of my older boys b'days), but I have to admit that November of 2005 was so perfect that when I think of it my heart fills of joy and I feel like getting preg right away! LOL!
I don't know if the fact that I was 28 nearly 29 when I had Eric made a difference, but I believe it did. Being a mom at late 20's early 30's is quite different of being a mom at the early 20's.We have more patience to deal with the stress (ok and the fact that Eric was my 3rd one meant a lot too!) of taking care of a newborn.
November 20th of 2005:
It was a rainy cold Sunday...I got up around 9am feeling kinda weird...
No pains...Just feeling weird...I had the feeling that the baby wasn't moving as much as he used to.
Every now and then, a huge contraction, but the pain was something I could tolerate smoothly...
I did all my chores around the house...Walked the dog out...And after lunch time I called my mom to tell her I was feeling weird and if the baby kept that still I would have to go to the Hospital.
During all afternoon I kept up cleaning (yeah the nesting thing hit me real hard!!!LOL), ironing, did the laundry, went to the grocery store, took a shower,and around 5pm I had my first blood show.
6pm I called my MIL and told her that I had to go to the Hospital.I asked her to pick me up around 7h30pm cause I wanted to give kids the supper.And so I did.
Fortunately hubby was home that day and he was staying with the kids.
A bit after 7h30 my MIL came to pick me up.Boy!She was in a nerve rack!LOL!She was so stressed out that I couldn't stop laughing.
We got to the Hospital at 7h55pm.I made check in and headed to the delivery room.It took me another 10 minutes before the doctor attended me and when he did the touch exam he freaked out!I had the complete dilatation and the baby was about to be born.In 5 seconds I had a crew of at least 5 nurses undressing me and getting me prepared to deliver the baby.
As soon as they broke my waters surgically,Eric made his way through.I pushed twice and he was out!The nurses were so mad at me (cause here in Portugal they love to do episiotomy!)once I pushed before they had the chance to do anything!
8h20pm--Eric was born!An healthy strong boy screaming at the top of his lungs!
He had 8.04lbs(3.650kgs) and measured 19.68 inches(50cms).
Next day I was walking fine and had no complications what so ever!
Best labor/delivery ever!

new born (baby Emily, a cutie pie!) cause the baby got some bug and had
stuffy nose what caused her hard time to b reath.
Then it came to my
mind that my friend Tina who's living in Pasco,WA had the same problem
with her 5 year old princess, last Winter.
Well, unfortunately I'm too acquainted with those problems.
of my older boys got submitted in the Hospital for 2 weeks when they
were babies, with respiratory infections (a.k.a. bronchiolitis).
Always by the same time of the year (December/January) and both of them around the same age (8/9 months old).
I slept on the Hospital floor (in both cases) for 14 nights in a row, beside their beds.
So when I had Eric , I was praying that I wouldn't have to go through all that again.
Thankfully, God has blessed me with a extremely healthy child (ok!Maybe the fact that I'm still nursing him has been a great help in the process!).
Still, when Eric was born I told my hubby that we HAD to buy a new nebuliser once the old one we bought when Filipe was a baby got broken.
I can assure you that there is nothing better then this.
Whenever my kids got stuffy noses or have lots of mucous going on I use it.
We don't have to use it with medicines the whole time.
If the kids are just having an hard time breathing (with no respiratory issues involved) I use the nebuliser by putting physiological solution in it.
What it's also quite handy is sea water nasal spray.
If you have any questions about it, just feel free to ask.
I'm pretty sure that my kids medical background can be quite handy too! LOL!

«BED TIME STORY»
"Once upon a time
There was a little star
Wondering in the sky
A lonely little star...
She was so sad and blue
She wasn't able to bright
And there she was alone
Wondering in the night...
And so she started to cry
Her tears fell into the sea
I felt the little star
Was calling out for me...
So I reached my hand so high
That I grabbed the little star
I cleaned up her eyes
And placed her next to my heart...
She finally found her place
Her tears were vanished forever
And when you see a smile on my face
It's my little star brighter than ever!..."

I thought it wouldn't be necessary cause as some of you already know, I used to be a firefighter and worked in the ambulances 1st aids too.But you know Dads!He was too worried to listen to what I said so they took him any way!LOL!
Well, head trauma is something that I'm pretty sure that all you moms are acquainted to!
So I decided to post about what you should do when your kids (or even some adult!)bump their heads:
Keep a tight surveillance on the child in the next 24 hours and pay attention to the alert signs:
- 1-altered consciousness--watch if the child looses consciousness or if is conscious but feels confused or drowsy;
- 2-Watch for any clear fluid from the ears or nose;
- 3-Black eyes and bruised skin behind the ears;
- 4-Watch if there is any vision changes;
- 5-And pay serious attention if the kid is feeling nausea and if he vomits persistently;
If the child looks normal after the injure,you must:
- 1-apply ice in the traumatized area;
- 2-calm the pain with some paracetamol ;
- 3-watch for any behavior changes in the child (abnormal restless or sleepiness);
- 4-watch for abnormal headaches ;
- 5-and if it's the child nap time watch for his sleep, if the sleeping looks unusual awake the child and watch his state of consciousness;
